Testing the session model

The session model is our smooth jazz mouthpiece. We measured a lot of famous jazz and sometime vintage mouthpieces like Otto Link, Meyer, Lawton and many others and then defined the range of the most important parameters that define this set; the table angle, the lenght and shape of the baffle and the beak angle.

Then we defined a range of mouthpieces that covers the whole set and have them tested by an experienced saxophone player.

By doing that we learned a lot about the effect of the parameters and it helped us to define our perfect Session model.  We continue this action with the alto soprano and baritone mouthpieces.
